Our Goal

Our goal at Command Control K9 is to continue providing top quality protection dogs to our clients. However, in today’s world this seems to be a real challenge. It is getting harder and harder to find good true protection dogs, even with the help of our close friends in Europe, who we work very closely with.

Just to give you an example the last time we traveled to Europe to buy good protection dogs, we saw over 500 dogs, and I personally tested all of them out. We only bought 3 dogs; the rest of the dogs were not worth the paper that they were written on. They were no other then Schutzund Titled Sporting Dogs, that had weak nerves.

A sporting dog will NOT protect you and your family in the real world, whether you are looking at Schutzund Titled Dogs, Ring Sport Dogs, or even for that matter a K.N.PV Title Dog. Have we ever bought a K.N.P.V. Title Dog? Yes, but they were far and few between! The K.N.PV Title Dogs we
purchased in the past were more suitable genetically to do real protection work, than they were to be trained for K.N.P.V.

K.N.P.V. is the closest thing to real protection. To put that into perspective, if one were to look at martial arts, the art of Tae Kwando, looks good on video or films, but in the real world this would not work. To make a comparison, that is what Schutzund and Ring Sport is in the dog world. The marital art of kickboxing is the closest thing to real Street Fighting and that is what K.N.P.V is in the dog world.

Although we specialize in selling fully trained adult protection Dogs, We have 2 to 3 litters per year of Belgian Milionis, Dutch Shepherds and German Shepherds We will only breed the best of the best protection dogs, and we won’t put a litter together just to sell puppies. There is a lot of thought that is put in when we put a litter together. We first look at the genetic nerves of the dog. Have both of their parents proven themselves? We will not breed a litter unless both parents have completed atlases our Level 2
Program.

We look at confirmation; we understand when clients take delivery that a good looking dog is important to them when they wake up every morning.

We at Command Control K9 only hold back the best of the litter to be trained for future adult protection dogs. Out of 6 puppies in the litter, 2 will be so-so, 2 will only make good family pets, and 2 will be suitable to be trained for Top Level Protection Dogs!
