Morning Walk With CCK9 Protection Dogs
Friday, June 15th, 2012K.N.P.V. Line German Shepherd Sting: Article Search
Monday, June 11th, 2012German Shepherd Sting (12 months old) Article Search Exercises
Sting is a 12 month old KNPV line German Shepherd that we imported at ten weeks from one of the top KNPV German Shepherd Kennels in Holland. He is NOT currently for sale as he is being held back to become one of CCK9′s stud dogs. Sting is also the son of our very own KNPV
PH 1 & PH 2 German Shepherd, Gandhi.
Unlike the article search exercises within the KNPV program where they get the dog to find the articles then retrieve the article back to the handler. We train our dogs to find the article then indicate by lying down. To us this makes more sense.
Please note that NO FOOD, BALLS or TUGS were used in his training. Just a simple concept of communication and desire.

Female Belgian Malinois Cindy Working in Protection
Monday, May 21st, 2012This is a video of Cindy working in Protection. Up until the last three months Cindy has only been trained in obedience. It has only been in the last few months that she has been trained in Protection as an Elite Estate Family Protection Dog. At the time of this video Cindy only had a total of 15 to 20 sessions of bite work.
Please note, at no time was food, balls, tugs, sleeve or E collar used during the training. The only training concept used was communication and desire. I know this may not sound possible, but those who know Cindy and know how we train Protection Dogs know that this is possible.
K.N.P.V. PH 2 German Shepherd Gandhi Takes Live Bite
Monday, March 19th, 2012This is a video of Gandhi, one of our KNPV German Shepherd stud dogs taking a live bite.
We at Command Control K9 test all of our protection dogs before we purchase them. One would be very surprised by how many personal protection dogs there are that will not take a live bite. The majority of the dogs that we test are equipment orientated. This is not real. We all know that a criminal does not come into your home with a bite suite on. We at Command Control K9 have no interest in a dog that is fixated on the sleeve or bite suit. It may look good in the sporting world, but it has no purpose in the real world. To test for a live bite, one must be a very experienced decoy, also known as a helper. This is not something one would fool around with. I’ve seen too many people get seriously hurt with these exercises. The decoy/helper will take an old, thin phone book and wrap it around the forearm with duct tape, then take an old sweater, or jacket, and slip it over.
*Please note: Do not try this if you are not an experienced trainer, for this could have serious consequences.
German Line German Shepherd Puppy: Ombra
Sunday, February 19th, 2012This is a video of Ombra at 4 Month doing Man scent tracking on a long line. Ombra is a bi-color German Shepherd import from one of the top working line German Shepherd Kennels in Germany. Ombra is not for sale as she will be held back for our breeding program, once she completes our Executive Protection Dog program.
Please note: that this track was 400 yards, and was only the second time that Ombra and Julia had done a track of this kind on a long lead. Also please note that Food was never a reward, just a simple concept of communication and desire.
K.N.P.V. Dutch Shepherd: Troy
Thursday, October 20th, 2011This is a video of Troy, just one of the many KNPV Dutch Shepherds that we have imported. Troy is a very strong nerved female Dutch Shepherd. In this video Troy demonstrates the stick attack that is done within the KNPV program. As one knows the KNPV PH 1 program is the most difficult and hardest dog sport in Europe. Very few dogs can handle the difficulty of KNPV, and even though German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois are very strong nerved dogs it is even hard for some of them to pass this hard sport. In fact only 800 to 1000 dogs are certified per year. The KNPV program is the closest sport to represent a true protection dog.
K.N.P.V. German Shepherd Max: CCK9 Stud Dog
Monday, September 19th, 2011
This is a video of Max, one of our KNPV German Shepherd stud dogs doing the gunshot exercise in the KNPV program. Max is a KNPV PH1 German Shepherd that we imported from Holland in 2006. Max is a very hard German Shepherd with very strong nerves but at the same time very social and great with children.
