Monday, November 19th, 2012

This is a behind the scenes video working in protection with one of our German Shepherd Protection Dog’s Dereck, who we sold to a family from New York three years ago. Dereck was sold as an Executive Protection Dog.

Our client was going on vacation and decided that it would be a good time leave Dereck with us to be trained up to our Elite Family Estate Protection Dog program.

Monday, November 12th, 2012

Lee is a young solid black German Shepherd import from one of the top Kennels in Slovakia. He has nice conformation with lots of bone density and a stud like head. He is a very social dog with tons of personality and absolutely loves children. Environmentally Lee is very strong, you can take him anywhere, whether it being a shopping mall, airport or to a local park.

Lee has just completed our Executive Protection Dog Program. He is very strong in protection and would make a good fit in a busy environment. Lee is available now.

Sunday, November 4th, 2012

This is a video of our staffer Julia working one of our protection dogs Ombra with horses.

When training your Protection dog it is imperative to condition your dog to work under extreme distraction. At Command Control Canine we work all our dogs at a very young age under heavy distractions. We understand that this is a very important to our clients, that is why even our young dogs can do a permanent down stay for 2 to 3 hours.

We here at Command Control Canine also understand that 95% of our clients have other animals.

That is why we work all our dogs with horses cats and other animals.

Assan, New German Shepherd Protection Dog

Monday, October 8th, 2012

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to showcase Assan. Assan is a 3 year old KNPV PH 1 German Shepherd import from Holland. Assan earned his coveted KNPV PH1 degree in May of this year with a perfect score of 440 points, which gave him a bye to go to the Dutch National Championship in September, of this year were he place first with 440 points. The K.N.P.V. program is the most difficult dog sport in Europe. As one knows, there are only 800 to 1000 dogs that earn this difficult title each year, and the only place where one can title their dog for a PH1 is in the Netherlands. Out of the 1000 dogs entered only ten dogs get invited to the Dutch National Championship. To have a German Shepherd at this level, this young for sale is almost unheard of.

15 Month Old German Shepherd, Guinness Mackenzie

Sunday, August 26th, 2012

A nice letter we recently received from a client by the name of June Miller.

To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great enthusiasm I write this letter of testimony for Perry Ahlgrimm. Perry Ahlgrimm was contacted, quite out of the blue, after a chance observation of his interaction with his own dogs. Unbeknownst to him, that interaction was being observed, from a distance and what I witnessed; well behaved, obedient, relaxed, happy dogs, so impressed me, I sought out his help. As a responsible pet owner, not new to owning dogs, I was convinced I had exhausted all my options with my 15 month old German Shepherd, Guinness Mackenzie who suffers severe fear aggression and I had resigned myself to the last resort available, euthanasia. Consideration to euthanize the dog did not come lightly and only after failed attempts by me, with the help of several qualified professionals, including a certified applied animal behaviorist to correct the dog’s behavior of lashing out at people and other animals. This behavior first presented itself at the age of ten weeks and the prescribed interventions
did not work as the behavior only increased with the age of the dog. The dog was unresponsive to verbal commands and could not be trusted in any situation. Sadly, the dog was muzzled and wore a promise halter all the time outside of the home. As the owner of the dog, I was miserable and so was the dog. (more…)
